1M Ethiopian Guests are Called to Homeland

The Immigration and Citizenship Service of FDRE is making various arrangements to receive 1m Ethiopian guests from abroad. Usually Ethiopian who are living abroad must apply for travel documents like travel visa and Yellow Card or Ethiopian Origin ID. However, the Ethiopian INVEA makes some important arrangements to the Ethiopian Diaspora. Using this good opportunity, Ethiopians can enter and visit their home land and tourist destinations. 

What are new arrangements for guests of Ethiopian origin?

The Ethiopian Immigration Officers may ask you for a visa and Ethiopian original ID. But now you can enter Ethiopia without an Ethiopian visa in a special arrangement. On other hand, you are expected to show Ethiopian original ID when you arrive at Bole international Airport. So, don’t forget to bring your renewed or expired Ethiopian original ID. 

Moreover, those who hold foreign passport and still interested to obtain the Ethiopian original ID or Ethiopian Yellow Card can apply online at www.digitalinvea.com. The immigration will deliver full service within 15 days and mail it to your address. So, apply online before 15 days of your departure. Moreover, learn how to prepare documents and apply online.

However, those who do not have Ethiopian origin ID can apply online for visa services at www.evisa.gov.et. If you face any challenges and problems, you can contact the Immigration Officer through the email address: support@evisa.gov.et.  

 Another new arrangement of Ethiopian Immigration is the on-arrival visa process at Bole International airport. But, it is advisable to apply online in advance to reduce the time and effort you may spend at the airport.

Applicants must use only the official website www.evisa.gov.et. Be aware that many fraud websites are collecting payments and personal information. If you apply on the appropriate website, the immigration officers will reply soon.

የኢሚግሬሽንና ዜግነት አገልግሎት እንግዶቹን ለመቀበል የተለያዩ ዝግጅቶችን እያደረገ መሆኑ የተቋሙ ዋና ዳይሬክተር አቶ ሙጂብ ጀማል ገለፁ:: የኢፌድሪ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ክቡር ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ ለኢትዮጵያዊያንና  ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ወደ አገራቸው እንዲመጡ ጥሪ ማቅረባቸው የሚታወስ ነው።

በዚሁ መሰረት የትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊ መታወቂያ/Ethiopian origin ID/ የታደሰም ሆነ የአገልግሎት ግዜው ያለፈበት፣  በልዩ ሁኔታ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ያለ ቪዛ  ወደ ኢትዮጵያ መግባት የምትችሉ ሲሆን፣ የታደሰንም ሆነ ግዜው ያለፈበትን መታወቂያ ኤርፖርት በኢሚግሬሽን ካውንተር ላይ ስለምትጠየቁ  በኢጅዎ መያዞትን አይዘንጉ ተብሏል።  በሌላ በኩል የሌላ አገር ፓስፖርት የያዛችሁና የትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊ መታወቂያ /Ethiopian origin ID/ አገልግሎት ለማግኘት የምትፈልጉ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያንና በውጭ አገር የምትኖሩ ኢትዮጵያዊያን የፓስፖርት እድሳት አገልግሎት ከፈለጋችሁ አስፈላጊ ሰነዶችን በማዘጋጀት www.digitalinvea.com  ድህረ ገጽ ላይ ማመልከት የምትችሉ ሲሆን ተቋሙ በተለየ መልኩ ከ15 ቀን ባልበለጠ ግዜ ውስጥ እናንተ በሞላችሁት አድራሻ ድረስ በመላክ አገልግሎት የሚሰጥ መሆኑ  ተገልጿል። 

ከዚህ በፊት የትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊ መታወቂያ ያሌላችህ ደንበኞች የቪዛ አገልግሎት ለማግኘት በ www.evisa.gov.et  ድህረ ገጽ ላይ ማመልከት የምትችሉ ሲሆን፣ በሂደቱ ለሚገጥማችሁ ማንኛውም ችግሮች support@evisa.gov.et  በሚል የኢሜል አድራሻችን ላይ ጥያቄ ማቅረብ የምትችሉ መሆኑን እናሳውቃለን፡፡ በተጨማሪም ዋና ዳይሬክተሩ አክለው ጥሪ በተደረገበት የጊዜ ገደብ ውስጥ ወደ ሀገር ቤት ለምትገቡ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያን የመዳረሻ ቪዛ/on arrival visa/ አገልግሎት የምንሰጥ ሲሆን፣ በኤርፖርት ላይ የሚቆዩትን ግዜና ድካም ለመቀነስ  በኦንላይን ላይ ቀድሞ ቢያመለክቱ የምናበረታታ ይሆናል ብለዋል። 

ማሳሰቢያ 

የቪዛ ጥያቄ በተቋሙ ህጋዊ ድህረ ገጽ www.evisa.gov.et  ላይ ቢቻ ሲቀርብ አገልግሎቱን የምንሰጥ ሲሆን፣ ከዚህ ቀደም በሌሎች ገጾች ላይ ጥያቄ እንደሚቀርብና ተገልጋዮቻችን እንደምጭበረበሩ የተገነዘብን ሲሆን፣ እስከአሁን የደረስንባቸው ገጾች www.ethiopiaevisa.com  www.ethiopiaonlinevisa.com  እና  www.evisaforethiopia.com  ሲሆኑ እነዚህ  አድራሻዎች የእኛ አለመሆናቸውን እየገለጽን በትክክለኛው አድራሻ ቢያመለክቱ ፈጣን መልስ የምንሰጥ መሆኑን እንገልጽለን።
